West (north) Area Events

 West (north) Area Schedule

The Pacific Northwest Formula 18 fleet currently has 4 top-notch events on the calendar for 2009 and all scheduled regattas are predicted to be well attended based on the success 2008. If you are interested in only sailing 1 F18 Class event, we would suggest the Seattle NOODs (the 2009 PNW F18 Championships) which had the highest attendance of the PNW F18 events in 2008 and some of the summers best racing.

In 2008 the PNW Fleet saw great competition between the NACRA Infusions, NACRA Inter 18s and Tigers with Scott McDonald (BC) and Andrepont/Koch (Seattle) swapping race wins in the Spring and Summer.  Late summer and fall saw Colwell/Colwell (Bellingham) winning the F18 Fleet Championships in Seattle as well as the Hobie Tiger North Americans.

Racing is open to all Formula 18 Class legal catamarans and provides exciting racing, great competitors and fun off the water events.

Mid-Western Events

Mid-Western Area Schedule

The events for the remainder of 2009 are posted – use the ‘Upcoming events’ link on the left side of the site to get the information. A full 2010 schedule will be posted in 1 months time.

‘Mid West’ is somewhat of a misnomer – this area includes Texas (where I’m from) and all the events posted on here are from Texas. If you are from the mid west and have an F-18 event in your area you want to promote then post details in a comment – and I will add it to the schedule.

Mid West Area Rep, NAF18 class association
