The ‘a’ and ‘h7′ measurements will be taken with this line. Find the widest point from the ‘a’ line to the bolt rope but DO NOT include the bolt rope. The bolt rope is in the luff track of the mast therefore is not measured.

This is the 'c' measurement

This is the 'c' and the 'h2' measurement. The 'h2' is the widest point from the 'c' line to the leach of the sail which is typically at a batten.

This is an image of the 'h4' measurement.  The 'h2','h4','h5' and 'h6' are all taken the same way.  Find the widest point between the corresponding 'c#' line and the leach.

This is typically at a batten. Also note that this is where you will put your stake for the next set of measurements. For example the point you take your 'h2' measurement will be where you put your stake for the intersection of 'c3' and 'c4' lines.

This is an image of the 'h' and 'a1' measurements.  Get the 'h' measurement by swinging the tape at the point where the measurement is the least is where it is square to 'a' and this is your number.  The 'a1' measurement is where 'h' and 'a' intersect to where 'b' and 'a' intersect.

This is the 'h7' measurement.  Make sure you enter this measurement as a '-'.  If you don't the jib will not measure in.  I'm finding he jibs to be very tight.  You'll need to do the same thing with the 'h11' measurement.
